A couple of weeks ago I was doing research and stumbled upon this competition Jansport was promoting to win one of their Superbreak backpacks. I had time, and hope… but little did I know I had luck on my side as well =) Got this email today and found out that I actually won =D Hurrraaayyyy! Thanks guys. G-r-a-t-e Grateful! / This Coors Light ad just… Oh, it cracks me up every. single. night! hahaha. Grateful for the laughs and cheap thrills. Take my breath away *boom boom* / Today, I got rickrolled good! Nice one Dom! 😉 / The moment Kim kisses her bodyguard… a whole new Dash episode I’ve never seen before… =O something to be grateful for… but no one can know!! =O =P

Blackmill – ohhhh I love that I found you today!! So beautiful I took 20 minutes out of my day to just listen, lie in bed and just… be… Mmmm grateful!! =) / Tita Dolly, yesterday I found a book on Indian Wisdom that my mom gave me when I graduated. Today, I found this book from you. And this time I actually read the whole thing from beginning to end… My favourite? “If you want change, begin it. If you want love, give it. If you want hope, embody it. Start immediately and do it flamboyantly. Once you’ve begun, don’t turn back. Change and growth can be painful and challenging at times, but as Lauren Bond said, ‘Every flower has to go through a lot of dirt.’ Life is about choices, growth and taking chances. It is about pushing through and moving forward. It is about loving courageously and not holding back. It is about finding a brighter, better way. You owe it to yourself and to the world to make the most out of the stuff that’s in you. Bloom into your incredibly, gloriously, brilliantly beautiful self. The world is waiting…” This was the passage on the very first page and is the reason I dropped what I was doing to sit on the floor this afternoon and just read the whole thing. If you are reading this, I wanted you to know that this put a smile on my face and lit a candle in my heart. And I’m glad it took me this long to find this book again, because it couldn’t have come at a better time. Thank you and with love always, I hope you are well… – krissa x / The Owl and Pussycat – cute little pub and great place to start the evening for some #futureplanning. Thanks for the drinks MS! (Even if I did get them wrong!!) / Kat, thanks so much for taking the time out tonight to have a chat. Know you’ve had a long day! But much appreciated! =) / These Green Machine smoothies at Shoreditch House… Oh my YUM! / Tonight, Kat tried to trick me into putting tampons into the fridge. I… yea. I dunno. I’m… grateful? =P yea, nice one FUNNY GUY! x

Day 265: Filling up the other half of my house, Losing my office keys, The moment Teddy spilled wine and 100 more days of appreciation…

Grateful that Kat has finally moved in, and nice to see the house grow warmer and fuller each day =) / Grateful for thinking I’ve lost my office keys and rushing home without locking the doors properly. Were it not for the minor inconvenience of having to leave the comforts of home and the excitement of Kat moving in, and having to go all the way back to work on a Friday evening when everyone has already left and people on the streets have started their weekend, it would not now permanently be ingrained in my head that I do, in fact, have a spare office key. It’s the silver one I never use, and up until now have never spared a moment for thought. But now I will! =) Sometimes, you need to make mistakes, little or large, because life becomes so much easier after that! =) / Today, Teddy spilled red wine on our newly acquired cushions. It was awkward. It was so awkward he laughed like this (see above!). I loved it. =D hahahaha / Day 265 of 365. 100 more days of appreciation… Oh my what to do after this! Who knew gratitude could be so damn addictive. =O =)
Day 264: Dinner with the HK/DB Crew, Red Thai Curries, Charlie bit me, and the moment Kavesh bit Dani on the arm…

Post-work dinner with Jo, DJ, Dani and Kav at Tuk Tuk. Grateful. / Red thai curries. Grateful! And YUM! as always… / Tonight, Kavesh bit Dani. Kavesh bit Dani on the arm so hard that her face actually went like this. And the wrath was just as much! I realise and I am very sorry for taking pleasure in other people’s pain, shock and discomfort… But Dani, I’m really sorry but today, I have to be grateful at least for the humorous side of this very, very unexpected and unfortunate event. I really do apologise for Kavesh’s misbehaviour. We will have words… … … hahahhahahaha. / To see the original footage and the memory that sparked my (and everyone else’s!) fit of laughter, watch the original ‘Charlie bit me’ video here.

Grateful for another brilliant Dharma class this week. Thank you Jessica, and for taking a few minutes after class to answer my questions. / Thank you Nikki for showing me around the Miho Apartment flats. I feel so relieved now that Kat and I have some sort of back up property that will do! / Grateful for all the estate agents that got back to me today. I particularly love how my persistence has finally garnered the attention of my most favoured property managers, enough to have a whole string of viewings booked for the next few days. / Thanks Arthur and Kav for waiting for me after class. And for the late night dessert at Haagen Daazs to catch up after my long stint away =) / Grateful for Haagen Dazs’ Chocolate Chip Cookie Crunch creation! YUM! / Grateful for the moment I realised Jo’s empty chair looks like Barney the dinosaur. Because that meant we could take silly photos like this at work. Just another typical day, eh? =)
